How to Find UPI ID in Google Pay
Reinstall the Google Pay App
- After the uninstalling the Google Pay, go to the Google Play Store or App Store and enter the ‘google pay’ in the search box.
- Tap on Install button.
- After a few minutes, the app is installed successfully.
Verification of the Phone Number
Now you have to register into the google pay app with the same details. No need to change mobile number, bank account, Google PIN and even UPI PIN.
Note:- The reinstallation process will never ask you to change your UPI PIN. You can use your old PIN on Google Pay for the UPI services.
Thus just you open the app, it asks you to enter your phone number linked with the bank account. Also, it will show you your earlier registered mobile number. Tap on that number and click on Next.

On the next page, the app will fetch your Gmail ID linked with the phone number. Again click on Next.

The Google Pay app will send you an OTP on your linked mobile number. It will automatically check the OTP. And the mobile number is successfully registered once again.
Secure Your Google Pay App
Now you reach on the next page where you would have to secure your google pay app. For this, you can choose one option between the two. First is through the phone’s Screen lock and the second is through the 4 digits Google PIN.

Since earlier I had created Google PIN, so I choose the second option. Thus click on Continue. Now for the verification purpose, you have to enter the Google PIN on the next page. And your app is now secured.
Remember, Google PIN is different from UPI PIN. Every time you have to enter the Google PIN when you open the app. This is just to secure your app. It is similar to Passcode in BHIM UPI App.
Restore Accounts
After making secure your app, you reach on the home page of the app. Then you may see a message on your screen. It says that you would have to restore your earlier saved bank accounts with the app.

Click on Yes. And on the payment methods page, you can see your all saved bank accounts in the inactive position.
Here you can add new bank accounts as well. Hence, you can see that you are not required to enter the account details once again.

Thus to activate the inactivate bank accounts, click on the Activate button.
Activate Bank Account with UPI PIN
After restoring the accounts, now you would have to activate your accounts. On the next page, you get your account information along with your name and earlier UPI IDs created in Google Pay app.

Thus to activate bank account, firstly you have to activate the UPI ID. Therefore, tap on Activate button once again.
The app will ask you to send an SMS from your phone to verify the number with the bank. Here standard charges for the SMS will be applicable. Press OK to allow it.
Now on the UPI PIN page, you would have to enter your UPI PIN in order to activate the bank account. It will also authenticate the UPI PIN.
Thus it starts to verify the mobile number with the partner bank. After the successful verification, again it starts to activate bank account. Both are necessary to activate the UPI ID.

After this process, on the next page you can see your bank account and UPI ID both are activated. Thus in this way, mobile number, bank account, UPI ID all are activated again. None of the place where you have to enter these details. Everywhere it fetches the information itself.

Hence, the re-registration with the google pay app is completed. Now you may also see your Google Pay UPI ID on the home screen of the app.
