CUGL Gas Bill Payment Online | Kanpur, Bareily, Unnao, Jhansi

CUGL is the leading domestic gas supplier in Kanpur, Bareilly, Jhansi, and Unnao. It Provides piped natural gas services to the general public. They offer convenient online bill payment options that allow customers to settle their bills within two minutes. Here, we will outline the two most popular methods for online bill payment:

  1. Online Payment Portal: CUGL provides an online payment portal that enables users to easily pay their gas bills. By accessing the portal, customers can securely make payments using various modes such as credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.
  2. Mobile Payment Apps: CUGL also supports popular mobile payment apps. Customers can directly use Phonepe, Google Pay or Paytm to check and Pay the bill. With just a few taps on their mobile devices, users can complete the transaction swiftly, saving time and effort.

CUGL Piped Gas Bill

The gas bill for this supply is generated on a bimonthly basis. For instance, you will receive the bill for the months of April and May in June, and so on. This means that there are a total of six bills generated in a year. Upon receiving the bill, you will have approximately 25 days to make the payment.

It is important to note that Central UP Gas Limited sends the bill through postal mail. It is your responsibility to keep track of the bill and ensure timely payment. In the event that you do not receive the bill on time, it is necessary for you to proactively obtain the bill amount and submit the payment. This can be done conveniently online. Below, I will outline the methods for checking new bills and making payments.

Requirements to Check and Pay Bill Online

To pay your CUGL gas bill online you must have the CRN number. This stands for the Customer Reference Number. you can find this number in your bill. you must note down this number for further use. This number does not change. By using this number, you get the bill and make payments.

Bill Payment Through the CUGL Portal

  • Central U P Gas Limited CUGL home page
    Go the the home page of CUGL
  • CUGL enter CRN Number
    The instant payment box would located at the bottom of the home page. Enter CRN Number and captcha. Tap on the submit.

    Bill details and bill amount would be there.
  • Bill Payment CUGL submit
    After checking the bill tap on the submit
  • BillDesk Request for Payment CUGL
    You would get the option to pay using Billdesk payment gateway. tap on the button.

    There are many options. Use as per your convenience. QR code is the easiest one as we use this method for the merchant payment.

    Choose BHIM UPI for generating QR code. It is only option.
  • Scan QR code to pay bill
    tap on the red area of QR code. It would make QR code clearer. Scan QR code using Paytm, Phonepe, Google pay or any other uPI app.

    You would see a payment request in your UPI App
  • Choose bank account
    Choose your bank account and proceed. Enter the UPI PIN to complete the payment.

To pay your gas bill, you need to visit the CUGL website.

On the homepage, you will find the “Instant Payment” box. If you are using a mobile device, this box will be located at the bottom of the page.

In the “Instant Payment” box, you need to enter your CRN number and the captcha code as shown. Once you have entered the CRN number and captcha, click on the submit button.

Next, you will see your gas bill details, including your CRN number, billing date, due date, and the amount due. Take a moment to review your bill and then click on the submit button.

You will now see your bill details again, along with the payment button. The portal uses the payment gateway provided by Billdesk. Click on the payment button.

At this point, you will be presented with several payment options, including credit/debit cards, internet banking, UPI, wallet/cash cards, Google Pay, and QR code.

If you are using a mobile device, you can select the UPI option, which will display the available UPI apps on your phone. You can select any of the UPI App.

Once you choose the UPI app, it will open, and you will only need to approve the payment by entering your UPI PIN.

By following these steps, you can easily make your gas bill payment using the CUGL website, ensuring a smooth and convenient payment process.

CUGL Gas Bill Payment through Phonepe, Paytm, Gpay etc

This method of gas bill payment is easier as you do not need to visit the CUGL website. Instead, you can check and pay your bill directly through a UPI app.

Most major UPI apps provide bill payment services, including gas bill payments. Within the bill payment section of these apps, you will typically find the option to pay your gas bill. Let me walk you through the process using PhonePe as an example:

Open the PhonePe app and scroll downwards to find the bill payment section. Tap on “See All” to access all available utility payments.

In the list of utilities, select “Piped Gas” for gas bill payment.

Next, you will be prompted to choose your gas service provider. In this case, select “Central UP Gas.”

Now, enter the CRN number of your gas connection. If you are unsure where to find the CRN number, refer to your printed bill. After entering the CRN number, tap on the “Confirm” button.

You will now see the details of your gas bill, including the bill amount and due date. Tap on “Proceed to Pay” to continue.

Choose your bank account and enter your UPI PIN to complete the payment.

That’s it! You have successfully made your gas bill payment using the UPI app, without the need to visit the CUGL website.
